My son Seth (nicknamed "The Thinker") was perfect for "Imagine." Seth, reads a book and like so many of us, becomes immersed in the story. In this sculpture, my gallant, young reader becomes a hero when he summons a tin soldier to fight the dragon (who has been chasing the princess in his book). Literacy changes lives, whether through dreams it inspires, the imagination it allows us to express or the knowledge we gain that transforms our lives. |
