Next Stop…Loveland Sculpture Invitational Show

I LOVE summertime. The Loveland Invitational Sculpture show is a mere month away (August 8-10). Known as the largest outdoor sculpture show in the world, opening day is electric! Miniature to monumental work is gathered from around the world. We get so excited about exhibiting our new creations and viewing the work of fellow artists.

This year I will be in Tent #3 at the Loveland Invitational Sculpture Show (at Loveland High School) and following is the show schedule

Friday: 10:00am - 3:00pm

(5:00 – 8:00 Patron Party*)

Saturday: 9:30am - 6:00pm
Sunday: 9:30am - 4:30pm

Recovery

My recovery from breast cancer has gone well. I have one more reconstructive surgery ahead. My prognosis is excellent and I feel blessed. Thank all of you for your support!

New Works This Year

I have three new works this year: “Gratitude”, a 2/3 life-size woman, seated with her arms wrapped around her legs, in the attitude of giving thank; “Sunflower”, a 3-year old child entwined with a large sunflower; and ”Rolay Polay” (a work in progress-see picture above) a polar bear curled on his back.

Additionally, this year, I have completed commission work for patrons in Colorado and Kansas.
