My daughter Mari and my father's dog "Izzy" are the inspiration behind "Watering the…Oops." Mari, quite often wants to do everything that she sees me do. Meaning well, she tries hard, but being five, she can get distracted. "Izzy," on the other hand, has a way of turning her head that can be very human. She turns her eyes in such a way that you can see the whites and she seems able to communicate a variety of emotions. I can't count the number of times I've watched one of my children do something that was so funny I could hardly catch my breath between laughing and crying. Animals can elicit the same humor with their loveable antics. Put the two together and you get "Watering the …Oops." |
